What kind of money will I need during the tour?

The tour price is all-inclusive and thus the cost paid covers everything regarding accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, entertainment, culinary program and of course every single bite of the food. In many cases drinks and beverages are also included in the price. You will therefore need to pay just for drinks and beverages whenever not included as well as for your personal needs and shopping.

Who escorts the tour and what kind of help will I get?

Paul will be personally escorting all our tours. Together with them a great number of P&J personnel will be present 24/7 to assist you with everything you could possibly need, from carrying your luggage to helping you through all our day activities. We choose to bear the expense of being overstaffed in order to guarantee the excellence of our service.

What is the language spoken during the tour?

English. In case a significant number of participants originate from a non English speaking country and desire so ,we can arrange a translation in most languages at a small additional cost.

To whom are your tours addressed?

Our tours are addressed to people of all ages that want to get a real idea of what Greece is all about and live a different vacation experience, people that are food enthusiasts and love to have fun at a relaxed yet organized pace. No physical skill is required in order to follow the tour. Nevertheless our every day programme will be quite full and an energetic attitude will help. Sport addicts, healthy food fans, people on diet and astronauts are excluded.

Do I have to know how to cook or have special culinary skills?

It would surely help. The more you know about cooking the more you will understand and enjoy our programme. At the end of the day what we offer is primarily a culinary vacation experience. You don't need to be a cooking expert or a professional and although we are sure that everybody would really enjoy themselves and everyone is welcomed, if you do not consider yourself a culinary enthusiast at all you won't fit the cup, so it would be making more sense choosing something else.

What do you mean that I will taste products from all over the country?

We are continuously searching and choosing very special and characteristic products from all regions of Greece to bring them to you one by one during the tour. This is not done by anybody else anywhere in the world, as far as our knowledge is concerned, and we are very proud for offering that chance to our guests. We consider even that fact alone justifying your participation to our tour.

Will I have any other options if I don't eat a specific dish?

You should behave your self and try everything in order to leave with a full taste of Greece in your gastronomic memory. But if you are naughty enough we will pamper you, don't worry. You will be asked to fill an extensive questionnaire that will cover all your special dietetic needs.

Will I have learned to cook Greek when I leave?

Certainly you will take a deep dive into Greek gastronomy. During the days we will spend together we will teach you all you need to know to understand Greek cooking to the doable extend according your program duration. There will be very limited hands on practice but a very extensive coverage of almost all Greek dishes. So, to that extend and according to your personal level the answer is yes, you should be able to cook Greek at the end. We will also provide you material to guide you step by step to all major recipes.

Is it safe to travel to Greece? Do I need any medical or other precautions?

Greece is very safe and you need nothing else except a sun protection cream. Criminality is extremely low and medical facilities are provided everywhere.

If my friends would like to book the tour sometime after I do will they find a place?

The tour is open to a limited participation in order to maintain quality. Therefore we cannot guarantee availability.

Will I need to do anything before the tour starts?

Yes. You will need to consume some limited time in order to go through some input we will communicate to you and then fill out a questionnaire. Normally the whole procedure should not last long but you will need to do it attentively since the level of satisfaction you will get depends on the preparation we will be able to do.
